THE FAMILY FARM

THE CUNLIFFE FAMILY HAVE BEEN BUSY FARMING SINCE 1904 AT OUR FARMS IN COPPULL AND LONGRIDGE.

Today 3 generations of our family are busy farming pigs, chickens and dairy.

While our Grandparents, Mum, Dad, Uncle and Aunt run the farms and livestock, eldest daughter Lora Margerison and her team are busy preparing, cooking and organising the catering of your mouth-watering Hog Roasts,

Lora’s love of cooking (and of course mucking out on the farm), saw her cooking and catering for our friends and families parties. The feedback was so good, Lora was inspired to develop a new side to the farm and the Hog Roast and Catering business was born.

QUALITY & SUPPLIERS

We are proud to source as much as meat as possible from our farms so that you can be assured our animals and your food are well looked after.

We are also proud to support other local farmers and grocers in the North West and are pleased to use as many local providers as possible – keep it local!

In line with our quality policies, here are just some of the local suppliers we use:

  • Morris Bakery, Coppull
  • Ribble Farm Fare, Longridge
  • Applejacks, Longridge
  • Belmont Farm, Longridge
  • Margerison’s Poultry, Blackburn
  • G.Rowles Butchers, Longridge
  • Yew Tree Dairy, Coppull

OUR PIGS

Cunliffe Pigs Our Hog Roast and Event Catering always get great positive feedback and that’s because we use our very own Rare Breed, Outdoor Reared Pigs, meaning the taste and quality of meat is second to none!

Our pigs welfare is important to us, they are allowed to grow at a natural pace, have lots of room to roam around, wallow in the mud and enjoy being fed on milk from our Grandparents dairy farm.

They live and sleep outdoors in pig arcs, so we typically have over 300 pigs enjoying the Ribble Valley fresh air at any one time. This means the pork has a greater depth in flavour, is more succulent, tender, and juicy.
